Unfortunately my life seems to have literally fell apart in recent months but I'm currently in the process of building it back up again! By saying that, I mean literally everything! NEW HOME...I am currently in the process of applying for a new place to live, alone! FRESH START...My relationship has pretty much hit rock bottom after 5+ years, neither of us are happy so its time to move on.
NEW JOB...I had been in my previous job for almost 4 years, it was my first "proper" job after school/college, they had took me on with no experience and trained me up and although I am very grateful for that, I eventually felt I was taken for granted, and not paid enough for what I was doing for the company, also my office manager seemed to have it in for me and made each day a misery for me, so I began looking for new jobs online! I found websites such as Jobcentre, City Calling and Indeed particularly useful.
I wanted to try something new and more challenging, but found that you need to have experience for pretty much every job out there! But I applied for an Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger Clerk position anyway. I had no experience whatsoever in this position, but I put a lot of time into updating and re-designing my CV and was invited for an interview.
I was very nervous after not attending any kind of interview for almost four years! But I decided to have a pamper session the evening before to relax myself and help me feel my best! I had already picked out my outfit which I was going to wear. I decided to dress reasonably smart but not too OTT. I found out my grey trouser suit which I bought from Primark about 3 years ago, and paired it with a pretty nude coloured chiffon tie front blouse. I wore nude coloured flat shoes(I wouldn't have felt comfortable wearing heels) and accessorised simply but effectively with my Fossil Rose Gold Watch and a nude tote bag! I really enjoyed dressing up smart for a change!

Anyway, my interview went well, and I waited to hear from them, but I got a phone call that same day from my interviewers, who said they were impressed with my positive attitude and thought I would be more than capable to do the job, so they offered me the job that day, despite still having a couple more applicants to interview! I was thrilled to say the least. I have now been in the job for almost 3 weeks and it's going very well. Onwards and upwards from here I hope!
Have any of you faced any new challenges in your life lately?
