G-Shock is adding another luxury MT-G model to its MTG-G1000R series featuring a rough blasted, textured surface. The MTG-G1000RG-1A with a gold IP finish is due for an October release in Japan (as the MTG-G1000RG-1AJR) with a list price of ¥230,000 JPY. Like the black MTG-G1000RB-1A which is limited to 1,000 units, the gold MTG-G1000RG-1A is also limited but to just 700 units worldwide.
The MTG-G1000 series is one of the top two luxury lines in the G-Shock family. MTG-G1000 models are made in Japan at Casio’s most prestigious factory and feature GPS Hybrid Wave Ceptor technology for automatic time synchronization anywhere in the world.
